Basic Handgun & CCW Permit Course

Description

This course is designed for individuals of all shooting experience levels. Regardless of whether you are a first-time gun buyer, an avid shooter, or a collectible enthusiast, you will leave this class knowing more than you did before. All topics pertain to and satisfy HB24-1174, effective July 1, 2025.

Course Fundamentals:

• Hands-on firearm handling technique exercises.
• Proper Safety Techniques and Anatomy of handguns/revolvers.
• Ammo anatomy and common malfunctions.
• Proper shooting technique (aim, grip, stance).
• Colorado Concealed Carry laws and legal aftermath.

A test is now required in the classroom and on the range achieving a score of 80% – 70% or better, respectively.

Policies:

• 80% refunds with 24 hours notice. No refunds with less than 24 hours notice.
• Weather Policy: Range portion rescheduled if under 40°F/snowing.
